Google Analytics is a free web analytics service that offers basic analytical tools and statistics used for search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing. The performance of a website and information about its visitors are monitored and analyzed using Google Analytics

In addition to identifying the most popular sources of user activity, it can provide valuable information about the effectiveness of a company's marketing initiatives and campaigns, keep tabs on how customers complete tasks (such as making purchases or adding items to their shopping carts), identify trends and patterns in customer behavior and gather demographic data.

The following are the steps for implementing Google Analytics: 
  1. Launch Google and enter "Google Analytics" into the search box.
  2. Go to Google Analytics, sign up for an account, and select Start Measuring.
  3. Type your name or the name of your business in the "Create Account" box and press the "Next" button.
  4. Complete the information about the property, including the property name, reporting period, and currency.
  5. Decide on your business size and the relevant industry category. Press Create.
  6. From the list, select your nation, then click Accept.
  7. Choose the platform as web in the data collecting options, and then paste the URL of your website into the stream field.
  8. Give the stream a name and click Create Stream.
  9. The installation window that displays will prompt you to copy the code.
  10. Open Blogger, go to Settings, pick Theme, and then click HTML Edit.
  11. Insert the code in the proper spot within the HTML code.
  12. Open Blogger, click Settings, then select Theme. Select the HTML edit option.
  13. Save the modifications.
